The problems with Windows based Mac recovery tools

There are presently available several extremely poor quality Mac recovery tools that purportedly operate from a Windows based computer. In order to use these tools to rescue lost files from your Mac computer internal hard disk drive you must remove your hard drive from the Mac and connect it with a cable to the motherboard of a Windows based PC. On to this PC you will also need to download and install the Mac file recovery program.

This lower quality program will be unable to do more than give you a glimpse inside of your Mac hard drive. And in most cases it will not even be able to do that for none of these programs are designed to circumvent the Mac OS X disk verification process. Only data recovery tools that are capable of downloading directly onto your Mac computer and circumventing the Mac disk verification are of any value when it comes to file recovery tasks such as restoring files that have been deleted due to reformatting or locating files that have been deleted.
